'Hands On' Activities for all ages and Spectacular Demonstrations

The following are/can be included:


Rock displays for handling and for my own unique use of them as props.

Outside the UK the rock samples I have will be more specific and much reduced as I will utilise some specific local ones, ie especially volcanic areas.


Volcano Models-made by myself, that are very realistic and children and/or adults volunteer to set them up to erupt spectacularly. The models represent the different types and show various eruptions of lava and ash/tephra.

Several models are my interpretation of actual volcanoes found in Iceland.

Plate tectonic model- Demonstrates how the plates move, what happens at the plate margins and why there is volcanic and intense earthquake activity at the plate margins.


My own film clips from my climbs/hikes/excursions to volcanoes and to experience volcanic eruptions/volcanic areas/glaciers. Also photo's, maps and other relevant displays.


Workshops/Presentations demonstrate scientific principles.

Duration of each workshop/demonstrations/presentation is flexible to the requirements of Venue/Event Managers.
